This past week we have not had any wet (or soiled) diapers through out the day. Can this be true? Is he trained? Granted I have been taking him to the potty and have not let him have a chance to tell me he needs to go. I think I am more afraid to deal with the mess and possible set back that could invoke. I have to say though, for a kid who just turned 2 he is pretty remarkable. His main motivator to get on the potty are The Nani and the Babby. If either of them say it is their turn to go he immediately says no its my turn and makes a bee line for the potty.
This morning I think he did say I need to go wee wee. But I am not sure.
In any case, a week of clean diapers (including his naps) is a big deal and i TOTALLY love it…
Looks like this will be a recurring theme for the Goggy. He peed in the potty today for the first time. Not just the toddler little potty but in the actual grown up loo. We of course celebrated the moment with any and everything he wanted.
Although he used to pee in the little potty shortly after he could walk, he completely stopped doing it after we moved to AZ (this summer 2008). I thought I may have missed the boat, but it looks like he is just proving to me AGAIN that he is as smart as can be.
Gotta love being a mom to the most wonderful toddler on the planet.

Our evening bathtime ritual just becomes more and more fun. Somewhere between 6 and 6.30 in the evening we get both the boys into the bath for their daily scrub down. The Goggy has recently become more aware of another of his superpowers. His miraculous ability to produce water from his body (Pee). The other day he peed (a substantial amount) on the carpet, then gives us a look to say, I know I am not supposed to but I am doing it anyway, because I can. I blame Mr EB for not insisting he puts a diaper on straight after “dry-dry”.
To cap it off he knows he is supposed to pee in the potty, at least he tells us as much. He will even go to the potty, sit on it and make shhh shhh sounds as if he is actually peeing.
Ahhh the joys of parenthood.
